Mais de mil e quinhentos jovens de todas as regiões do Estado de São Paulo participaram nos dias 29 e 30 de Março de 2008, da Primeira Conferência Estadual de Juventude do Estado de São Paulo, no Parque da Juventude (antigo complexo penitenciário Carandiru).
E para representar a nossa escola os integrantes, João Ricardo e Leticia Albanezi do Grêmio Estudantil Cid da Chapa G.A.M.E I Junto com a equipe do Ribeirão Jovem.
A Conferência Nacional de Políticas Públicas de Juventude é um espaço de diálogo entre o poder público e a sociedade civil sobre os desafios do segmento juvenil e quais alternativas devem ser tomadas pelos governos para respondê-los. Realizada de dois em dois anos,
ela é um processo no qual jovens e interessados na temática de todo o Brasil se reúnem para discutir a situação das pessoas que compõem esta faixa etária e apontar quais são as prioridades de investimentos, ações e programas a serem desenvolvidos pelo poder público.O projeto da Conferência Nacional de Juventude é realizado pela Secretaria e Conselho Nacional de Juventude, organismos vinculados ao Gabinete da Presidência da República. Esta será a primeira edição da Conferência Nacional de Juventude. Com o tema “Levante sua Bandeira”, ela irá debater três grandes temas: Juventude: Democracia, Participação e Desenvolvimento Nacional”, “Parâmetros e Diretrizes da Política Nacional de Juventude” e “Desafios e Prioridades para as Políticas Públicas de Juventude”.
O objetivo é promo
ver o direito à participação, fortalecer uma rede social para fortalecer as políticas de juventude, indicar ao poder público as prioridades de ações e programas relacionadas ao tema e contribuir para mudar o patamar de compreensão da sociedade sobre este segmento.Foram eleitos na Conferência Estadual de Juventude, para representar a juventude da região de Ribeirão Preto na Conferência Nacional de Juventude: Benedito Carlos da Silva, Letícia Tereza Albanezi Rocha do Grêmio Cid Chapa G.A.M.E I, Jonathan Botosso da Silva, Sandra Helena Caetano da Costa e Rodrigo Clemente.
